Being of Water/Ice type,it's super vulnerable to Electric, Fighting, Grass and Rock attacks. However, rock and grass types are also super vulnerable to Lapras' attacks as well, so it's more of an even fight. Lapras' best stat is HP, and weakest is speed, with a weaker physical than special defense.
Lapras (Japanese: ラプラス Laplace) is a dual-type Ice/Dragon Pokémon. It is not known to evolve from or into any Pokémon. In Kanto, Lapras has a dual-typed Water/Ice regional form.
To answer the question that's likely popped into your head, Pokemon No. 1,000 is Gholdengo. This Steel/Ghost type is the evolved form of Gimmighoul, which transforms if leveled up after you collect 999 Gimmighoul Coins.
According to the Pokedex, Lapras were now protected by legal measures, and their numbers exploded. It's unclear whether they breed really fast, or whether Ditto were brought in to slide out some eggs, but the Lapras population exploded.
I would pick the pokemon that would benefit my team the most in terms of role. If you find you are in need of a strong physical pokemon, I would choose Gyarados. If you decide you want a pokemon that is more durable with good special capability, I would pick Lapras.
Lapras can have the ability Water Absorb or the ability Shell Armor. With Water Absorb, Lapras can heal 1/4 of its max HP if it is hit with a Water-type attack. With the ability Shell Armor, Lapras can block any Critical Hits. Its hidden ability hydration will heal all its Status conditions in Rain.
If it's Gigantamax Lapras you're looking for, then only Shield players have access. They can find it at Giant's Seat. Sword players will have to wait for a special event to find G-man Lapras raids.
The first Pokémon, Bulbasaur, is number 0001 and the last, Mew, is number 0151. Alternate forms that result in type changes are included for convenience. Mega evolutions and regional forms are included on the pages for the generation in which they were introduced.
A captured MissingNo. is functional as a Pokémon and appears in the games' Pokédex as number 000. The games classify it as a hybrid Bird/Normal-type Pokémon even though the category of Bird-type Pokémon was cut from the games before release.
