Every summer for over 39 years, the City’s Service Sports (Sports Department) has organised sports programmes for young people aged 11 to 17 called “Sport-Wochen”. The “Théâterplage” is back this summer in line with current public health measures. Situated in the tucked-away square of Place du Théâtre, this fun beach hideaway aims to breathe life into this often overlooked part of the city centre.

Nothing Is Permanent is a large exhibition of sculptures in the public spaces of the city of Esch-sur-Alzette. Starting from the Place de l’Hôtel de Ville, a circular route connects 23 monumental works by established and emerging international artists.
