“The Bistro is our new favorite Marietta place to eat. We appreciate the ambiance, which is as important to us as the food. The lighting is perfect, the spacing of tables is thoughtful, cloth napkins and tablecloths, a peaceful quiet atmosphere and a great wait staff. Plus. Excellent food. The scallops are to die for ~ the chef knows how not to overcook seafood, a rare talent. We took out-of-town family there during the recent Ice Festival and they were impressed. A big compliment as they live in a large city and eat out often. Highly recommend.”

“Stopped here on a road trip and had an excellent experience. Very nice people, historic/quaint atmosphere and the food was very good. The menu is fairly sophisticated for a small town restaurant. We tried a couple of the pasta dishes and burgers. All excellent and the pasta was clearly fresh made in house. The French onion soup was great and very true to how it’s supposed to be with a traditional crock, Gruyère and croutons. Kids menu are pretty good size portions and should be good for most kids. We tried 3 desserts and all were tasty.

“They have excellent food. The chips and shells are particularly well done and the rice is fluffy and delicious. The only problem is that the salsa is subpar, quite bitter and not tasty. The salsa alone is what keeps this from being a monthly consideration to a quarterly option. Compared to their outstanding chips, the salsa is beyond a disappointment and more of an a disgrace. The entrees are well portioned and come out hot. Service is typical.”

“What a great experience. We spent our 25th wedding anniversary here and it was great. The rooms, although haunted ?, were clean and comfy. The service was top notch. They were also kind enough to ship our backpack that was left behind(taken my ghosts)to us in Wisconsin. We will return again next year. Oh and the breakfast was amazing.”

A little disappointed that the grill here is no more (their ads said burgers, but they shut down their grill and grilled foods a while ago), but the rest of the food absolutely made up for it. Good beer and drinks. Local beers, vodkas, gin, and mead. Server was friendly. Well worth the visit!
