This is a big patch. We are getting some hero balances and Hwayoung is getting a re-work (nerfed), you should consider re-calling her and try pulling for a hero you want in the custom banner. Also, the 2 new sets, protection and torrent are added. Please bare with me as I will need to have the dev add that and he is not available right now.

1. Hero and Artifact Balance Adjustments

Balance adjustments will be made to certain Heroes, facilitating better strategies involving them.

※The probability, number of turns, and cooldowns are based on fully enhanced characters.

※Other skills will not be changed unless stated.

1. Hero Balance Adjustments

■5★Remnant Violet (Dark, Thief)

– A soulburn effect will be added to <Sword Flash>.

– The effect for <Concentration> will be changed.

– The effect for <Massacre> will be changed.

– The Cooldown will be reduced and the soulburn effect will be removed.

■5★Top Model Luluca (Dark, Mage)

– Top Model Luluca’s imprint concentration will be changed from <Attack +6%~18%> to <Critical Hit Chance +5.6%~16.8%>

– The effect for <Victory Pose> will be changed.

– The effect for <Demolish> will be changed.

■ 5★Pirate Captain Flan (Dark, Ranger)

– The effect for <Execution> will be changed.

– The effect for <Scourge of the Sea> will be changed.

– The effect for <Full Burst> will be changed.

■5★Vildred (Earth, Thief)

– Damage dealt by <Sweep>, <Dancing Blade>, and <Blade Ascent>, will be increased.

■5★Zahhak (Earth, Warrior)

– The skill effect and skill enhancement effect for <Elaborate Plan> will be changed.

■5★Luluca (Ice, Mage)

– The effect for <Wave of Vengeance> will be changed.

■5★ Hwayoung (Fire, Warrior)

– Damage dealt by <Supersonic Kick> will be increased.

– The skill effect will be changed to inflict additional damage upon a successful attack, and the additional damage will be decreased.

– The amount of increased Attack from Prairie Hawk will be decreased, and its Skill Enhancement Effect will be changed.

–Damage dealt by <Monarch’s Flaming Strike> will be increased.

– Required max Health difference amount will be increased, and its cooldown will be increased by 1 turn.

■4★Bad Cat Armin (Dark, Warrior)

– The effect for <Are you ready?!> will be changed.

– The effect for <Catch ‘Em!> will be changed.

– The effect for <Is This It?! Nyahaha!> will be changed and the damage dealt decreased.

– The cooldown and acquired souls will each be reduced by 1. Additionally, the Soulburn effect will be changed.

■3★Jena (Ice, Mage)

– The effect for <Cold Blow> will be changed.

– The skill and Skill Enhance effect for <Coerce> will be changed.

– A Soulburn effect will be added.

– The effect for <Cold Snap> will be changed.

– The Soulburn effect will be removed and its cooldown will be increased by 1 turn.

2. Artifact Balance Adjustments

[How to Recall]

1. Open the Hero Details window and tap the Recall button.

2. When you tap Recall, the materials you will be given if you proceed with the recall will be displayed. Tap [Recall] to proceed with the recall.

3. Select [Recall] in both the first and second confirmation windows to proceed with the recall.

– Once the recall has been applied it cannot be reversed.

[Materials Returned After Recalling]

1. Level

– Penguins and Gold to be returned will be determined based on the current level and EXP of the Hero.

– Hero EXP will be rounded up and exchanged with Newbie Penguins and Experienced Penguins.

2. Grade

– Potion of Ascension and Gold will be issued according to the Hero’s current star grade at the time of Recall.

– Potion of Ascension will be provided when recalling a 6★Hero.

3. Awakening

– Runes and Catalysts will be reissued equal to the amounts used for Awakening.

4. Skill Enhancement

– All MolaGora, Catalysts, and Gold will be reissued according to the amounts used for Skill Enhancement as listed in-game.

5. Memory Imprint

– The Heroes will be returned as Slate of Fate based on the number of Memory Imprints performed.

– Slate of Fate cannot be used on Moonlight, Limited, or Collaboration Heroes.

– See below for the number of items returned based on the grade of the Devotion Skill.

6. Ego Fragment

– An Ego Fragment will be reimbursed if Imprint Concentration has been unlocked.

7. 5★Covenant Hero Selector

– You can select and summon a 5★Covenant Hero you desire.

– Tap the [Do not display duplicates] checkbox if necessary.

– After selecting a Hero, Hwayoung will be deleted and you will receive the selected Hero.

– You cannot select Moonlight or Limited Heroes with the 5★Covenant Hero Selector.

8. Friendship

– The recalled Hwayoung will have its Friendship reset and you will receive Friendship items equivalent to the friendship you had with Hwayoung.

[Gift of Balance]

-Gift of Balance is a friendship gift with no element bonus.

※Once the recall has been applied it cannot be reversed. Please be fully aware of the outcome of the recall beforeproceeding.

3. Labyrinth System Revamp

■ Common Changes

– The Labyrinth renewal will reset the Labyrinth progress and achievement rewards based on the Explore Rate will be added.

– The normal and hell difficulties of the Azmakalis Raid Labyrinth will close early on 10/27 (Thu) 02:59 UTC. The renewed hell difficulty will be available to Heirs on 11/1 (Tue) at the server reset time.

– If a player has already cleared all Labyrinths they can proceed to Area 1 of each region without any unlock conditions.

– Warp gates that have been discovered or cleared in Labyrinth will be marked on the mini-map.

– Players will be able to check the connected Warp Gate when they tap a Warp Gate shown on the minimap.

– The number of Labyrinth Compass that a player can possess will be increased from 3 to 5.

– Area 5 of Tirel Castle in Chaos will be removed.

■ Labyrinth Unlock Adjustments

– The time at which each Labyrinth unlocks will be adjusted.

■ Labyrinth Monster Level Adjustments

The monster Level in Labyrinth will be changed.

– The level of monsters randomly appearing in Labyrinth will be 1 level higher than the changed level, except for the Elite monsters in the tutorial.

■ Nixied’s Sanctum Improvements

– The structure of Area 1 ~ 5 of Nixied’s Sanctum will be changed.

– The number of battles in all areas of Nixied’s Sanctum will be reduced, improving the ability to explore more areas with a single entry.

– A number of clear portals have been added to all areas of the Nixied’s Sanctum, improving the overall convenience.

– Some sections of Area 2 and 3 of Nixied’s Sanctum will be deleted.

– The connecting sections for some warp portals in Area 3 of Nixied’s Sanctum will be changed.

■ Royal Capital Azmakalis (Normal) Adjustments

Royal Capital Azmakalis (Normal) will no longer reset and will be changed so that it can only be cleared once.

– The route to Queen Azumashik will be changed to defeat 1 boss.

– The main Equipment rewards will be changed from Level 67 to 80.

■ Royal Capital Azmakalis (Hell) Changes

– The name of Royal Capital Azmakalis (Hell) will be changed to Azmakalis of Cycle and a new difficulty (Nightmare) will be added.

– Azmakalis of Cycle will be available when the server resets on 11/1 (Tue)

– You can only clear 1 boss monster per entry in Azmakalis of Cycle.

– Azmakalis of Cycle will reset every month.

– You can enter Azmakalis of Cycle(Normal) using a Malicious Bug Charm and can acquire a Level 88 Equipment or Accessory with random substats. (Same as the existing Hell difficulty)

– Upon defeating Azmakalis of Cycle’s Queen, you can challenge Nightmare Mode and its progress will be synchronized with the Azmakalis of Cycle. – Heirs who have already defeated Azmakalis of Cycle’s Queen can challenge the nightmare difficulty immediately.

– Changing to Nightmare Mode will increase difficulty compared to Normal Mode.

– The bosses that have been defeated in Normal Mode will not appear in Nightmare Mode until the reset time.

– The bosses that have been defeated in Nightmare Mode will not appear in Normal Mode until the reset time.

– You can enter Azmakalis of Cycle(Nightmare) using 2 Malicious Bug Charms and can acquire a Level 88 Equipment or Accessory with fixed substats.

– The Gold Chest acquired after defeating a boss will reward one ofEpic Artifact Charm or Galaxy Bookmark.

[Azmakalis of Cycle Nightmare Mode]

– The Gold Chest acquired after defeating a boss will reward one ofEpic Artifact Charm or Galaxy Bookmark.

– You can acquire one of the Azmakalis(Nightmare) Exclusive Reward from each boss after defeating a boss.

– You can check more details regarding the rewards for clearing Azmakalis of Cycle (Nightmare) in-game.

■ Changes to Items sold by the Logistics Officer in Azmakalis of Cycle

– Greater Azimanus Fighter’s Necklace(Rage Set) sold by the Logistics Officer in Azmakalis of Cycle will be removed and 2 new items will be added.

– The 2 newly added items can be purchased using 15 Queen’s Guard Badges each.

– Epic Catalyst sold by the Logistics Officer will be removed and an Epic Catalyst Selection Chest will be added.

– Queen Azumashik’s Gift will also be sold in Azmakalis of Cycle. Can be purchased with 2 Queen’s Guard Badges.

■ Ancient Coin Shop Adjustments

– The Ancient Coin Shop will be changed to the Labyrinth Shop and players will now be able to directly move to the Labyrinth Shop from the Labyrinth content page.

– The Malicious Bug Charm which could be purchased using 1,200 Ancient Coins will be removed.

– The Malicious Bug Charm which could be purchased using 3 Labyrinth Compasses in Shop will be available in Labyrinth Shop.

– Malicious Bug Charm purchase conditions will be changed from once a week to 10 times a month.

– Labyrinth Compasses, which could be purchased in the Shop will be available in the Labyrinth Shop.

■ Adventurer’s Path Adjustments

– Some of the quest details of the Adventurer’s Path will be changed.

4. New System – Background Battling

– The Background Battling System will be added. You can assign Repeat Battling in Adventure/Hunt/Spirit Altar and enjoy other content.

– Background Battling will be unlocked at Rank 25 along with Pet and Repeat Battling.

– You cannot enter the same stage as the one you are already Background Battling in.

– Heroes used for Background Battling cannot be temporarily stored, Specialty Changed, transmitted or used as materials for promotion or memory imprint until the Background Battling ends.

– While Background Battling, you can grow, change equipment, promote, memory imprint, and awaken Heroes in battle. The changed information will be applied beginning from the next battle.

– The Heroes in Background Battling can level up from the acquired EXP, but cannot level up using Penguin or gain Friendship EXP in the Hero menu.

– Pets undergoing Background Battling cannot be removed or used as ingredients for enhancing and synthesizing.

– The Repeat Battling Limit cannot be changed for the pet that is currently Background Battling.

– If you do not have enough Energy for Background Battling, the number of Energy required for the content will be deducted and displayed as negative numbers. The Background Battling will be terminated after the end of the battle.
ㄴThis only applies when there is no other method to recharge energy or if the Auto Charge Energy function was not turned on.

– Background Battling will continue while doing Ancient Inheritance, but you cannot check the battle information pop-up.

■ Background Battling Information

– Select the content for Background Battling and proceed with Repeat Battling.

– After checking the Repeat Battling progress pop-up, you can proceed with Background Battling by clicking the newly added Background Battling button.

– You will be moved to the Lobby afterward.

■ Background Battling UI

– You can check the Background Battling status by tapping the button on the top right.

– Tap the Background Battling button to check the status during battle.

1. The Background Battling status will be displayed.

9. Haste and Rhianna & Luciella Drop Rate Up

In this Drop Rate Up eventmeet the Fire Elemental Thief, Haste who can weaken enemies by decreasing Defense, deal damage using Bleeding effects, and simultaneously recover Health. Players can also obtain the Thief exclusive Artifact, Rhianna & Luciella which, at the end of a turn has a set chance to grant an extra turn enabling a continuous Attack.

10. Cecilia and Rise of a Monarch Drop Rate Up

In this Drop Rate Up event, meet Cecilia, the Fire elemental Knight who is capable of inflicting debuffs on enemies while providing protection to allies, and the Knight exclusive Artifact, Rise of a Monarch that can increase Defense of the caster and at the end of the turn grants a barrier to the ally with the lowest Health except for the caster.

11. Coin Shop Item List Renewal

The purchase limit for items in the Covenant and Galaxy Coin Shops will reset and there will be a rotation of the Heroes sold in each shop.

The list of Heroes available in the Covenant Coin Shop and Galaxy Coin Shop will be changed from 2 to 3.

14. Other Improvements and Adjustments

■ Adventure and Story

[Region Reward UI Improvements]

– The Regional Reward UI will be improved to better display Stars received in the area.

– Side Stories with Regional Rewards will also be improved.

– Improvements will be made for a better display of Stars received in World Map.

– The number of Stars received will not be displayed in Side Story

– [Select Episode] will also be improved for a better display of Stars received in each area.

– Closed areas will not display Stars received.

– The number of Stars received will not be displayed in Side Story (Including Unrecorded History)

[Episode 1 Region System Improvements]

– ‘Update planned’ areas of Labyrinth stages in Episode 1 will be removed.

– The number of [Region Reward] Stars and [A Crack in the World] stage requirements in Episode 4, Chapter 5S. Sun Desert will be fixed.

[Episode 1 Region Reward Improvement]

– Episode 1 [Region Reward] will be renewed to support Hero growth in the early stage of the game and more.

※If you have previously completed Episode 1 and acquired [Region Reward], the renewed rewards will be sent to your mailbox.

[Other Improvements]

– Star Acquisition difficulty of [Episode 1], [Epilogue Unrecorded History], and [Episode 2] will be lowered.

ㄴMissions that require certain classes will change to missions that require a certain number of Heroes to survive.

ㄴMissions that require 2 or more Heroes with specified elements will change to missions that require one Hero with a specified element.

ㄴThe Star Acquisition missions in stages with stories will be changed to Initial Clear, Clear Story, and Complete the stage with a certain number of Heroes alive.

ㄴThe missions with special requirements, such as Open Gold Chest, or Clear Chaos Gate, will be maintained.

ㄴThe skill effects of bosses in certain stages in Episode 2 will be lowered.

– Improvements will be made to the battle preparation screen to check the boss monster’s information in advance.

ㄴThe information about certain boss monsters in Adventure cannot be checked in advance.

■ Heroes

– An issue where the materials acquired in ‘Caides’ Hunt cannot be used to clear the quest when proceeding with the 3★Hero Wanda’s Specialty Change quest [Clear Hunt] will be fixed.

■ Battle

– The description for Incomplete Fastus in Hall of Trials will be adjusted to match the actual effects. No functional changes will be made.

■ World Arena

[Battle Frenzy Effect Changes]

– The following attle Frenzy effects will be applied, starting from the current pre-season.

– Base effect depending on Battle Frenzy level: No Change

– 30% Damage Reduction effect depending on Elemental Advantage (Covenant Heroes Only): No Change

– Final Speed Increase by 7 for Soul Weaver: Removed

– Final Speed Increase by 7 for Mage: Added

– Max Battle Frenzy Level decreases from 8 turns to 7 turns.

■ Account Buff Effect UI Improvements

– Certain Buff effects will be additionally displayed as icons in Account Buffs.

■ Other

– The Set effect and icon of the previous seasons’ Equipment Chest will be displayed in [Shop > Conquest Points].

– The [Epic Craft] button in [Sanctuary > Steel Workshop > Crafting] will be improved.

– An issue where the upper screen UI did not display when entering the Music Player pop-up banner from the main screen of Side Story before coming back to the main screen of Side Story using the quick menu will be fixed.

– The waiting time for network connection errors in World Arena matches will be adjusted from 60 seconds to 90 seconds.

– An issue where the upper screen UI does not display when entering the Music Player from the Sanctuary before moving to [Inventory > Exclusive Equipment> Craft > Alchemist’s Steeple] will be fixed.

– An issue where an error message displays and the Mock Battle invitation pop-up function does not work normally when inviting a player in World Arena Mock Battle will be fixed.

– An issue where when paused during World Arena Round Mode, if the Battle ended after win/lose has been decided, the timer function in the semi-lounge screen does not work normally will be fixed.

– An issue when tapping the [Settings] button on the Repeat Battle pop-up banner, the currencies are displayed in incorrect system text will be fixed.

– An improvement will be made to increase the kill count when defeating Prairie Sorcerer monsters
while transformed inVortex of War mission in Episode 4, Chapter 8,Awakened Adin.

–The 5★ Hero Command Model Laika, the 4★ Hero Furious, Roaming Warrior Leo’s Exclusive Equipment will be added to the Alchemist’s Steeple.

– Equipment rewards from Goblin Gate Gold Chest andTreasure Chest will be increased.
